BETH
FERRIER
|
| We're
very excited to have Beth come and teach for us this summer.
In addition to all her designing and teaching, she also writes
for one of our trade magazines and it's always the first thing
we read! Beth will be teaching 3 different workshops and she's
also hosting our Quilt/Dessert Party this summer. If you came
when we did it with Kim Diehl, you know that it's a great
evening. |

"Quilting
is one of the great joys in my life, and I'd like
to share that with you. During our time together,
I will encourage you to do your personal best and
remind you that perfection is not a reasonable goal.
I am very much a process oriented person. It's important
to enjoy what we are doing, or we might as well be
at work! My classes are always great fun and jam-packed
with my Power Quilting tips and techniques to get
the very most joy out of your quilting time."

KIM
DIEHL
|
|
|
Kim has
been a large presence in Western New York in the past
couple of years and we're proud to be having her back
again. She has some great new workshops, a brand new
line of fabric coming in June and a new book coming
out in October - Simple Graces. If you haven't taken
a class from her before, you will love it. She's very
laid back, but you walk away from the day with a wealth
of knowledge - plus it's just a plain, fun day!!

Scrap
Basket Blossoms
Friday, September 24
10:00 am - 4:30 PM - $65
Gather scraps from your favorite prints and treat yourself
to a fun and relaxing workshop as you stitch this traditional
quilt. The variety of gentle shapes in this design are perfect
for learning Kim's invisible machine appliqué technique,
and you'll discover just how easy it can be to produce consistently
sharp points, smoothly rounded edges, and vines with flawless
curves. This modern time-saving method is easily mastered
and will enable you to achieve finished shapes that closely
duplicate the look of needle-turn appliqué, but they
can be sewn in a fraction of the time! And because you'll
love stitching this block so much that you won't want to
stop, bonus directions for an alternate four-block version
of this project will be provided in class.
